We support the children's emergency since the earthquake in Sumatra. We now help street children in the city of Medan in North Sumatra province. Medan is with more than two million inhabitants the third largest city in Indonesia.

The project in Medan is focused on approximately 500 children living on the street. The project aims to reintegrate street children into their families or a placement in a foster family. With the help of programs in schools the emergency relief provides together with their local partners also prevention work for children and strengthen vulnerable children, so they do not end up on the street.
